Institute of Mass Communication Film and Television Studies is stepping out from this session (2023-2024) to propagate Higher Education in Media Studies, Advertising, Public Relations to confer Under Graduate, Diploma, Certificate and Post Graduate degree courses by the affiliate body of the University of Kalyani in the semi urban town in Nadia district, West Bengal at Chakdaha within the jurisdiction of the University.

This will be a corridor for spreading education not only in the higher levels but will also spread the same in the primary level strata along with delivering a mixed education system with foreign Universities in technical fields keeping in mind the long tradition and heritage of Indian Education system to create 'West meets East' in culture, education and economic milieu for the betterment of Global Human Society.

That is the present motto of IMCFTS in this step out.

We wish and contemplate that Nalanda and Takshashila Will again blow the Clarion of Education to the Universal community where the students and alumni will join the path of lifelong learning.
